…For those with poor memory. For note-taking, for the urge of writing, for resting a book or a cup of tea. In clearing the head of thoughts, in pinning positive ones….

PINS was born as an ethical and reuse project, old plaster casts of shapes from the Marioni archive are in fact recovered and repurposed to create a system of new furniture elements. The bases with various heights in glazed ceramic born to be perhaps vases, lamps overturned serve as bases for a series of small tables with colored glass tops to be combined together, to accompany an armchair or useful support for a seat or sofa. Hence the name “Pins,” like pins for a quick note. Natural was then its evolution into a kind of family, each element thus assumes a strong personality capable of being able to have its own independent life in addition to the harmony created by their combinations, the objects change, descend in scale, grow and become something else and so the small tables born as a useful support for a seat or a bed become even more functional becoming precious lamps and sculpture hangers in recalling archetypal forms.

A complete collection of tables, lighting fixtures and furniture accessories with glazed ceramic bases and brass frames. The tables have back-painted crystal tops that can be perfectly set in any decor.
